Get ready for an incredible experience on a marked-out run in the heart of a magnificent natural valley.
All the thrills of a toboggan run for everyone from 5 years old.

After an 8 minutes ascent using the Péclet Funitel, you arrive at the departure set at the foot of the magnificent Péclet glacier, at an altitude of 3,000 m.

Then it’s off for 45 minutes of excitement and sliding entertainment!

The itinerary is great fun, linking raised bends and varied slopes giving tobogganists intense pleasure.
Nothing to fear, just let yourself go and enjoy, right at the heart of an exceptional site.

Price for a run, with a sledge and helmet:

  • 16.50 € for a descent
  • 24,50 € for 2 descents
  • Free for children between the age of 5 and 9 on an adult’s (above 18) sled.

In Val Thorens, there’s a toboggan run to suit everyone!

For the little ones (over two years old)

Whether you’re on your own, with family or friends, whatever your age or ability, you’ll find a run for you.

• For the over 2’s, a free, safe and secure “Baby Fun” tobogganing area in the Place Caron at the middle of the resort awaits them.

• For the 6 – 10 year olds, dedicated snowsports fans will love the new toboggan run measuring 250 metres in length over a 45 metre vertical drop and featuring a range of banked turns.
Surprise: you no longer need to climb back up to the top pulling your toboggan behind you thanks to the 2 free covered magic carpets located at the bottom of the slopes which let you get back to Place Caron without even breaking a sweat.

DAY TIME:

 Rendez-vous at the Chalet Cosmojet, situated above the bottom of the Cascades chairlift.

• Buy your tickets.

• The Cosmojet is open from Monday to Friday from 12:15 am to 4 pm (closing at 4:30 pm from February 8)

• From Saturday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm (closing at 4:30 pm from February 8)

• Access is via the Péclet funitel.

The Cosmojet run may close due to weather conditions.

EVENINGS:

From Monday to Friday

• Booking is MANDATORY and tickets have to be bought on the day from one of our ticket offices.

• Be at the Chalet Cosmojet from 5 pm onwards to collect your equipment.

• The Cosmojet is open: from 4:45 pm to 6 pm (from 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm from February 8)

The evening may be cancelled due to bad weather conditions, in which case the tickets can be used another evening.

CAUTION!

• For your safety, tobogganing is FORBIDDEN for children under 5 years old.

• It is free for children between the age of 5 and 9 on an adult’s (above 18) sled.

• Children alone on a sled must be at least 9 years old and over 1.25m tall.

• Only SETAM sleds are authorised on this run.

• Helmets and gloves are COMPULSORY for everyone.

• Don’t forget that departure is at an altitude of 3,000 m – dress warmly.
