Welcome to the Résidence Le Chamois d’Or in Val Thorens! We’re delighted to welcome you for your next stay in the mountains. To make your experience as enjoyable as possible, we’ve put together some practical information to help you prepare for your summer in the Alps.
Taxi transfer
Arrive relaxed: book your taxi between the residence and the airports and train stations of the region.
Required information: last name, first name and phone number; arrival or departure date, time and flight or train number; pick-up and drop-off locations; number of passengers; for children, their age and whether a baby seat or booster seat is needed; number of bags and of pairs of skis or snowboards.
Ski rental
Book your equipment before you arrive at SKISET, on Rue du Soleil.
Skis, snowboards or snowshoes: a complete range of quality gear for children, teenagers and adults, so you can hit the slopes of Val Thorens from day one.
Your ski schools and mountain activities
With ESF Val Thorens, give the whole family supervised ski lessons adapted to every level: first steps on the snow, group or private lessons, progress for children, and childcare for the little ones.
With Oxygène, make room for discovery and new thrills: private ski or snowboard lessons, off-piste outings, ski touring and snowshoe walks to explore the mountains differently.

Your ski pass
During your stay in Val Thorens, take advantage of our exclusive offer with Chamois d’Or! Enjoy a discounted ski pass that grants you access to the slopes and services of the resort.
Get your Wellness pass
We offer the sale of a wellness pass (offering access to the sports centre, wellness area and swimming pool) for 6 days at the special price of €70. We recommend that you book at least 3 days before your arrival date.
Book your parking
As a pedestrian resort, Val Thorens invites you to book your parking space in advance. The nearest public car park to the residence is “P2”, offering convenient access to your stay in this magnificent destination.

Chalet Caribou at the top of the Val-Thorens slopes offers you a large, sumptuous flat where you can live and sleep with your head among the peaks below the Pointe de Thorens between Mont Peclet and the cime Caron.
