GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

I – PRICE & CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT

Our prices are all taxes included and the rent of the accommodation include charges (water, electricity, heating) except the tourist taxes to pay on site.
Our general conditions of sale provide a down payment of 30% of the total amount which will be requested when booking. The balance of the stay should be settled one month before the arrival (with a credit card or by bank transfer).
Any booking made less than one month before the arrival must be paid in full to be confirmed.
Any later change to this contract will be charged of fees of 10€.
It is recalled that towels are not included in the price (except for the apartment 4 rooms Superior and the apartment 3 rooms Comfort) but could be rented at the reception desk on the arrival.
Pets are allowed with an additional charge (not leave them alone in the accommodation). 

II – OCCUPATION

The accommodation cannot, on no account, be occupied by more people than the number designated for each apartment. 

III – SAFETY DEPOSIT

We ask you for a safety deposit of 400€/studio and 600€/apartment to pay on arrival. It will be given back on departure’s day, between 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. In case of missing or damaged items, or if the accommodation is not rendered in its previous conditions, the safety deposit will be used in restoring the accommodation to management’s standards. 

IV – CLEANING

The accommodation must be rendered in its previous conditions. A control will be done on your departure’s day between 8.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
Our cleaning staff can do a cleaning for you at the end of the stay for a price from 55€ to 145€ 

V – INVENTORY

On arrival, it is necessary to fill out an inventory list. Listing all present and missing items in the accommodation and return the list to the reception before 12.00 a.m. the day after. If the inventory list is not returned on time, the tenant accepts the accommodation as in perfect standing. 

VI – TO RECEIVE YOUR KEYS

The delivery of keys is made at the reception from 5.00 p.m. the day of your arrival. For late arrival (after 10.00 p.m.), please contact the residence by phone before 8.00 p.m.
In case of one key loss, a sum of 57€ will be charged in order to cover the expenses due to the lock’s change. 

VII – CANCELLATION

If, after paying the 30% down payment, the tenant ask for the cancellation of his booking for whatever reason, the tenant must do so in writing and the following penalty costs will be charged, depending the period between the day of the cancelation and the start day of the stay:

  • more than 1 month before arrival : free cancellation
  • from 31 to 16 days : 50 % of the total of the stay
  • from 15 to 9 days : 75% of the total of the stay
  • less than 8 days : 100% of the total of the stay

Any cancellation involve administrative fees of 45€

 

Special covid 19 health crisis conditions :

In the context of the health crisis linked to Covid 19 and only in this context,

If our residence were to close and stop its activity on request of the public authorities or

If the public authorities of your main residence would notify you a travel ban (border shutdown, lock-down, travel restrictions for non-essential travel),

if the ski lifts of the Val Thorens / Orelle ski area were completely closed,

Then we will proceed to a free cancellation and you will be refunded of all amount paid, even the down payment.

 

VIII – LEAVING EARLY

In case of reducing the length of his stay, the tenant will not be refunded for any days that the accommodation is vacated before the end of the contracted date.

 

IX – CANCELLATION & SANCTIONS

This contract will be cancelled by rights, without formality and immediately, in case o nonfulfillment, from the tenant of its obligations or inappropriate behaviour, which disturb the stay of the other people. The tenant must, immediately vacate the premises, on the express request of the management of the residence, and could be evicted with the support of the police.

X – RESPONSIBILITY

S.A. LE CHAMOIS D OR will not be responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items of the tenant, whether owned or rented, under the residence of tourism law of rented furnished apartments, as LE CHAMOIS D’OR is not an hotel. If the tenant so wishes, he is encouraged to have his own insurance. It is strongly recommended not leave cash money, checks or credit cards in the accommodation while absent.
